The Alabama Industry Liaison Group (ALILG) was founded in August 2001 as an unincorporated non-profit association to serve its member organizations as a forum in the advocacy of equal employment opportunity and fulfillment of affirmative action obligations as federal contractors, by working closely with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and related administrative agencies to establish effective dialogue reflecting the viewpoints of its constituents, shaping regulatory and legislative outcomes and educating constituents on developments regarding regulatory changes.

Welcome to the official website of the Alabama Industry Liaison Group (ALILG), Alabama's premier employer association for federal contractors and organizations interested in promoting diversity, affirmative action and equal employment opportunity.

The Alabama Industry Liaison Group was formed in 2001 on the belief that improved and expanded communications between regulatory agencies and the federal contractor community will foster greater voluntary compliance efforts and bolster equal employment opportunity.

Furthering that mission today, the Alabama Industry Liaison Group promotes diversity, affirmative action and equal employment opportunity by working closely with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and related administrative agencies to advocate the positions and viewpoints of its constituents, helping shape regulatory and legislative outcomes and educating constituents on developments regarding regulatory changes and compliance obligations as federal contractors.

The Alabama Industry Liaison Group and its peer organizations around the country represent a unique partnership of public- and private-sector cooperation.  Each Industry Liaison Group (ILG) adopts a proactive approach to addressing important compliance and social issues and reaching mutual goals.  Today, there are over 80 ILG chapters in the six (6) OFCCP regions across the U.S., representing over 1200 organizations.  Each ILG is independent of the OFCCP and includes only those contractors, constituency and other groups who wish to participate.

The Alabama Industry Liaison Group meets six (6) times during the calendar year to provide technical assistance seminars and confidential forums for discussing issues of importance to its members.

As we enter our 10th year of service, we invite you to join us as we continue to develop strategic partnerships that foster voluntary compliance and equal opportunity in the workplace.

There are many benefits to becoming a member of the Alabama Industry Liaison Group, perhaps the most important of which is the opportunity to meet key officials from local, regional and national regulatory agencies and other leading human resources professionals to share strategies and best practices related to affirmative action, diversity and equal opportunity. Affiliation with the Alabama Industry Liaison Group also affords access to the educational resources of the National Industry Liaison Group (NILG) through its annual conferences.

We invite you and your company or organization to become a member today! For more information about membership, please visit the Becoming A Member section of this site, or the Board of Directors section for the personal contact information of our officers.
